Next week, it's September, and since we wrapped up Robert Benchley this week, I'm thinking we'll be getting ready for Hallowe'en a bit early by starting up Roger Zelazny's classic novel A Night in the Lonesome October, one of the few pieces of fiction I know of that's narrated by Jack the Ripper's dog Snuff.
